"A view from Hillcrest"
A couple of good friends and I went to Thunder Bay for their reading week, and my vacation from work. We had been making jokes about how we made an agonizing choice to fly to Thunder Bay, rather than spending it somewhere warm.
Needless to say, from this picture, I’m glad we made the trip further north. This place is beautiful. And it’s got quite the view from the top of Hillcrest park.
In the back left of the photo is the land formation “The Sleeping Giant” or What the Ojibway Natives call “Nanabijou” meaning “the Spirit of the Deep Sea Water”. If you want know more about it. Click Here.
Anyways, it’s a beautiful place. Much more than I was expecting, and the point is, i’m glad I went somewhere with THIS kind of scenery.
Enjoy, "A view from Hillcrest"
